Exposing the Power(less) of Satan – Series 3

Mark 14:51-52 A young man who followed him had nothing on but a linen cloth. They caught hold of him, but he left the cloth in their hands and ran away naked.

Go on and ask your so-called “enlightened” pastors and priests who this naked “man” is and what is the purpose of Yahweh why He included these verses in the bible. Some say this man is the evangelist, but why would he wear only a linen cloth? It doesn’t make any sense at all why a man would appear naked in that scene.

The death on the cross of the Lord Jesus Christ, as we know it, is the end of the power of Samael. The only way for this true Satan to remain in power is for him to prevent the death of the Lord Jesus. But however he wanted to stop this prophecy from happening, there is nothing that can stop what Yahweh had already predestined to occur. Satan even used Simon Peter to discourage the Lord Jesus from going to Jerusalem and meet His fate.

Matthew 16:22-23 Then, taking him aside, Peter started to remonstrate with him. ‘Heaven preserve you, Lord;’ he said ‘this must not happen to you’. But he turned and said to Peter, ‘Get behind me, Satan! You are an obstacle in my path, because the way you think is not God’s way but man’s.’

The only archangel destroyer also didn’t want this to happen, so he appeared to strengthen him, ready to wipe out all those who are plotting this wickedness on the Lord Jesus. But the will of God must prevail.

Luke 22:44 ‘Father,’ he said ‘if you are willing, take this cup away from me. Nevertheless, let your will be done, not mine.’ Then an angel appeared  to him, coming from heaven to give him strength. In his anguish he prayed even more earnestly, and his sweat fell to the ground like great drops of blood.

Going back to the initial verse in discussion, the arrest of the Lord Jesus Christ is already the beginning of the fulfillment of the prophecy and the beginning of the end of the power of Satan. The young naked man who suddenly appeared is actually Satan or more  commonly known by his cherubic name Samael, and he was actually starting to turn into a flesh as a sign of his diminishing power. Because according to the book of Psalms and the prophet Ezekiel, these false gods, the fallen angels including Samael, as their punishment for their rebellion against our Creator, they will also become and die like ordinary men.

Psalm 82:6-7 I once said, ‘You too were gods,
sons of the Most High, all of you,
but all the same, you shall die like other men:
as one man, princes, you shall fall.

Ezekiel 28:9 Are you still going to say: I am god,
when your murderers confront you?
No, you are a man and not a god
in the clutches of your murderers!

In the above verse, Yahweh was referring to the king of Tyre, Samael himself, who exclaimed in his own free will that he too will be a god and rival the Most High.

Isaiah 14:13-14 You who used to think to yourself,
“I will climb up to the heavens;
and higher than the stars of God
I will set my throne.
I will sit on the Mount of Assembly
in the recesses of the north.
I will climb to the top of the thunderclouds,
I will rival the Most High.”

In the end, Samael will be looked down only as a “man” and not a god.

Isaiah 14:16 All who see you will gaze at you,
will stare at you,
‘Is this the man who made the earth tremble,
and overthrow kingdoms.

The only power Satan is left with is his power of sweet talks, charms, lies, deceptions and his deep things of sorcery and magic over his own minions, but he is, and always was, powerless against the elects of God.
